Danny is thrilled to announce the release of his debut album “Next Stop,” in which he closely collaborated with the renowned Lee Musiker, who music directed, arranged and co-produced. The album was recorded at NOLA Recording Studios in New York City. Theatrically, Danny was recently part of the Broadway-Bound new musical “Ace” at the Signature Theatre during their 2009 Tony Award winning season. He has performed in New York and around the country at other Tony Award winning venues such as The Old Globe, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Goodspeed Musicals, as well as York Theatre Company, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, North Shore Music Theatre, Fulton Theatre, Stages St. Louis, Stamford Center for the Arts, The MUNY, K.C. Starlight, Pittsburgh CLO, Shadowland Theatre, Musicals Tonight, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, among others. Currently he is portraying Younger Brother in Portland Center Stage’s production of “Ragtime.”
   Danny grew up in St. Louis, MO and now resides in New York City. Before making it to New York, he lived in Pittsburgh where he received his B.F.A. in Drama studying musical theatre at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University.

   These songs will be sung as long as there is a singer. Most of them come from films and musical theatre, but have also become part of the jazz repertoire. Their prominence in both genres have made many of them part of the Great American Songbook. They have been performed time and time again and will continue to be. One might say they’re on their own personal journey. A journey whose next stop is me.
   A favorite teacher of mine once told me, “What often makes a great piece of work great, is that it can take many different points of view.” As I set out to discover my point of view, I was particularly inspired by both the jazz and theatre styles. This is where my heart lies. These songs speak to me, each in their specific way, reflect many stops on my journey, and some that I imagine will arrive very soon.
