He sings with an honesty that cannot be Photoshopped or Pro Tooled into existence - it exists because it is who he is. Johnny embodies an America that was... an America of singer/songwriters writing and singing songs purely for the joy of writing and singing.
And he embodies an America that is yet to be... generous, idealistic, and true to itself with arms open to the whole wide world.
