Joey Reynolds (Narrator) rose to national fame as a Top-40 radio personality: The top authorities in radio credit Joey as the inventor of shock talk radio. On The Oprah Show, Joey was the focus of a two-part series about radio talk show personalities. Many of the leading talk masters of radio paid him tribute on the show as the fountainhead of talk radio. Significantly, Joey was one of the first radio personalities inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hail of Fame in Cleveland in 1997. His immensely popular nighttime show is based in NYC on WOR Radio, and syndicated across the U.S. from 1AM to 5AM. His show sparkles with a rare and wonderfully sharp stream of consciousness and spontaneous wit that makes him one of the greatest personalities on radio today. A father of two teenage daughters, Joey strives to practice the same ethics in his work as he does in his everyday life. Joey has always loved The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran and he has said, "I consider it an honor to speak the words of this great classic." Jimmy Wisner (Composer/Arranger/Producer) is known in the record business as the "Wiz," and rightly so. The artists he has worked with represent a "Who's Who" of show business. Artists such as Tony Bennett, Robert Goulet, Barbra Streisand, Tommy James and the Shondells, Al Kooper, Mel Torme, Herbie Mann, The Cowsills, Cab Calloway and the list goes on! He has had over 100 chart records, and the records that he has made have grossed over a billion dollars. His songs and arrangements have been heard in many movies such as Dumb and Dumber, Mr. Holland's Opus, Vigilante and What's So Bad About Feeling Good? He was also music consultant on the films Staying Together and Lean On Me. Jimmy composed the theme for ABC's Wide World of Entertainment and the score for Bobby Kennedy Jr.'s The Last Frontier, a documentary film about Africa. For Jimmy, the opportunity to compose music in support of the timeless words of The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran was the opportunity of a lifetime. Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931) poet, philosopher, & artist, was born in Lebanon, a land that has produced many prophets. There are millions of people around the world, far beyond the Near East, familiar with his writings; many of whom consider him the genius of his age. His poetry has been translated into more than twenty languages. His drawings & paintings have been exhibited in the great capitals of the world and compared by the French sculptor, Auguste Rodin, to the work of the poet and artist, William Blake. |
