Shortly after graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, I released my first album in Japan. After releasing several more albums, I decided to move to the United States and start a new life here in New York City. I've worked in other fields besides music, but I have always been an artist and have enjoyed my own creativity in whatever field I was working. Although my life is constantly changing in shape and color, my priority has always been playing and writing music.
   I recently realized that I am intimately connected to everyone and everything in my life, and they have always showed up in my life at the right moment for special reasons. I am awed when I think of that. I am passionate to express the richness of my experience through my music. I was fortunate to have guitarist Nelson Veras and bassist Gildas Bocle record with me on this CD. They both understood my music right away.
   I thank everyone who has entered my life for even the briefest moment of time. Thank God, my spirit never stops whispering lessons on love to me.
