The purpose for making this album was to showcase myself a composer and jazz pianist, having performed primarily as an accompanist and musical director for a spectrum of singers ranging from Dame Kiri Te Kanawa to Miss Peggy Lee.
   I can't speak highly enough about the two other gentlemen on this album. Dave Finck is one of the most highly. sought after bassists on the New York Jazz scene today, having worked with everyone from Rod Stewart to Andre Previn. Drummer Michael Berkowitz began his career as an LA studio musician, having developed a musical relationship with the late Nelson Riddle and currently conducts pops concerts with major orchestras throughout the USA, Canada and Europe. I would like to thank Stephen Holden of the New York Times for his kind words, Kent and Lois Heckman of Red Rock Studios for a wonderful recording experience and Brian ,Ashley for his marvelous photography.
