MoKiJam is a highly regarded jazz/funk instrumental band based in New York City and southern Connecticut. Their signature musical voice and energetic sound reflect skilled musicianship and a synthesis of influences, which include Steely Dan, Maceo Parker, Frank Zappa and Living Color. MoKiJam consists of saxophone, guitar, electric piano, bass and drums.
   The members of MoKiJam bring a wide range of experience to the table, having opened for artists such as Tower of Power, Kenny Garrett, Jeff Lorber, Brian McKnight and Marion Meadows. The band's debut CD "Episodes" was released under the Horizon Music Group.
