Song For Pickles

This is classic 60;s jazz quartet music from composer/lyricist/pianist Larry Gelb with beautiful solos by Dick Oatts on flute/tenor/soprano/and alto sax, Matt Wilson on drums and Cameron Brown on bass creatively add to the almost orchestral texture of the group interaction.
Broadway vocalist Amy Justman sings on several tracks with lyrics and Oatts' solos range from Rollinesque on 'On The Hudson 'to Shorterish' and 'Waltz For Madame Chaloff'  to spiritual Coltrane on 'The Cave Of Mach Pelah'.
Larry Gelb composed and arranged 12 great new tunes and 'Pickles' is a funky bossa dedicated to the Gelb's Jack Russell Terrier written in 60s Blue Note style.
On 'The Honeymooners Now' 'track Mr.Gelb plays a swingin' Sonny Clarkish-Ed Nortonish piano solo.Great Fun and Everyone's Cookin''.....
