Mokijam is a fusion band that will wake you up much better than all of those... delivering a powerful funk sound with strong influences from Steely Dan, Maceo Parker, Frank Zappa and Living Color.
   The synthesis of these influences, their signature musical voice and energetic sound reflect the skilled musicianship that has made Mokijam a highly regarded jazz/funk instrumental band.
   Based in New York City and southern Connecticut, Mokijam consists of saxophone, guitar, electric piano, bass and drums.
