Best Of Your Heart

   BJ Crosby is a native New Orleans entertainer who began her career in the Baptist Church of New Orleans. BJ has won numerous awards for her soulful singing style. Critics have described her as "unbelievably talented and an exciting performer" with a vocal range that is "phenomenal". To add to her credits, BJ was nominated for an Olivier Award as best actress in a musical for her role in Smokey Joe's Cafe - London Production.
   On Broadway, BJ received a Tony and NAACP Award nominations as best actress in a musical. Additionally, the New Orleans Music Association named BJ "Entertainer of the Year", and she is a Grammy award winner for the original recording of Smokey Joe's Cafe and has received the Award for Cable Excellence (ACE) for Lady BJ Sings Lady Day - A Tribute to Billie Holiday.
   BJ has recorded "Love Changes" and "Find Your Way" on Bullet Records and went to the top of gospel charts with her duet with Rev. Daryl Coley's "He's Right on Time" - singing "You Are My Everything" on Sparrow Records. BJ has performed and been well received internationally in concerts and jazz festivals and night clubs. BJ has performed in Hong Kong, Korea, England, China, Italy, Germany, Holland, France, Brazil, the Caribbean and Turkey.
   BJ Crosby's latest offering is her CD "The Best of Your Heart" which is a somewhat eclectic presentation of her range with songs such as "Tight", "The Best of Your Heart"" and originals such as "No More Wars", "Cajun Moon" and "I Will Always Love You" with Joe Sample's music and lyrics by BJ and Perry Moore.
